Amadu Jalloh & Andrew Pender

Ever wondered how one man's presence can revolutionize the game of college football? Buckle up as we unravel the impact of Dion Sanders' move to Colorado. His arrival has not only changed the traditional landscape of the game but also attracted a diverse bunch of students and top-tier players from South Florida. We also speculate on the promising future of his son, Shaddour Sanders.

What really led to the Bills' loss? Was it their offense or the lack of an effective strategy? As we analyze notable games like the 49ers vs. the Steelers and the Cowboys vs. the Giants, we question the Bills' approach and dissect their performance. The conversation takes an intriguing turn when we tackle the underwhelming performance of the Giants despite having a good quarterback, and the increasing number of NFL injuries.

The episode wouldn't be complete without our special guest, Young Shark from Sierra Leone, whose latest tune 'Why' has been making waves. Last but not least, we expose the darker side of sports - corruption and politics in Africa. We shed light on controversial millionaire  Vivek Ramaswami and his questionable actions, and the ongoing unrest in Sierra Leone. Join us in this insightful journey that covers not just sports but also the effects of politics and corruption on the game we all love so much. So gear up and spread the word about Fan Faces!

Speaker 1:

So the fabulous episode of fan faces. We're right and we're live, we're ready to go, we're cooking baby. There's a lot to top, it's we need to get into today and it's gonna go down here me. I'm ready for that, I'm ready. I'm ready for all the smoke baby, as you all know, I am, I'm gonna do, I'm gonna do the great welcome to another episode of fan faces. But before Andrew, yes, all right, before we before we get going and Andrew asked me a question about my other endeavors.

Speaker 1:

He asked me how do I know, guy, about the name of young shark I'm sharp is up and coming in, like it up and come in to Tanner and Sierra Leone, west Africa, talented guy. He had us. He has a song out, big song, which is called. It's called why we did a challenge for why social media challenge and we did a. We had this week after we did it we gave the winners surprise money and some final cuts media merch and it was a good time. I'm happy we got to do that.

Speaker 1:

But the promotion doesn't stop here for you guys out there, help us push young shark. Andrew want to know how I know young shark. Young shark came to me when I was touting for talent, my younger cousin, his name, his name is Amadouh Rui, he's my dad's name's sake. He lives in Freetown. He said he said he has this guy by name of young shark. If I, if he should put him in contact, I'm like sure, and I heard some young sharks music and I was like, wow, guys, really talented. And it impresses me when people in Sierra Leone I mean the technology is there, but it impresses me when you do a whole lot with the little that you have, and young shark is so talented. He's done a whole lot with the little that he has and I decided to bring them on board onto the final cuts media family and it's a good match.

Speaker 1:

He makes good music, he's constantly eager for the next step and Constantly, you know, working on what's next and trying to make things happen. So we've we've done like three or four songs together now and They've been top-notch good quality. So, andrew, if you ever get a chance and anybody else out there, if you ever get a chance there's a YouTube page on. There's a YouTube page for final cuts media. Go check it out. Got young sharks music on there and young shark himself also has a YouTube page. Go check him out on YouTube and you could hear all of his past stuff before me and you could hear all of his current stuff with me at the helm. But, uh, yeah, there's lots of talent in the continent of Africa and what I'm trying to do is bring young shark and people that are talented like him, bring awareness to them and bring them, bring them to the forefront, because right now, the continent of Africa, music wise, is bubbling and A lot of good stuff.

Speaker 1:

You guys are playing yeah there's lots of good stuff going on. So we need to Get these guys notice. We need to get these guys Seen and heard, because the budgets are not there. We don't have the hundred thousand dollars at five, five hundred thousand dollars to one million dollar budgets to push them, but we're trying the try the true method to get artists like this going.

Speaker 1:

There's not only young shark on the roster. There's my cousin, a rain the reaper, pretty decent Wrapping as well. And then young shark is a dancehall artist reggae. He's a dancehall artist. And then there's mr Press, who's the R&B singer of the pack, super talented as well. So if you ever did go to my page, get the chance to go to my page, go check out mr Press as well. Talent, voice, wise, out of here and why never? The opportunity comes to you know. Put the, put these guys in the limelighting, have people see them. I relish that. I can't wait. I can't wait to put them. I can't wait to put them in a position that they earn Well enough to go back and put the money into the country and put the money to their families and let us all go together. So that's my tidbit about the artists on Final Cutts media young shark, mr Press Rain the Reaper, and we got D2. D2 has one song out and it's. It's very good too, but we're gonna make a video for that at some point in time, when he's ready, do it. Yeah, so you got to just that.

Speaker 1:

But onto topics at hand sports related yes, we got a little bit of college situation going on. There's a Guy, there's an individual that's Riling up the college football world and you know we're going crazy about it, and he's working with a program that you know that hasn't been you know what's it called prevalent in the last couple of decades here, but now they're coming and he's leading the helm. There's also we got a lot of NFL stuff going on this weekend as well, cuz you know this is week number two into the NFL season, but week number one was quite amazing. Uh, the NFL put a good product out on the field. So we're going to get into some of the main, the top stories of the week, of the past week that happened in NFL, and also some politics and corruption. Stay tuned to find out more about all those topics.

Speaker 1:

And uh, here we go, andrew, yes, that's what we got. What do you want to start with? Yeah, we're going to start with the man, the myth, the legend, the on Sanders too legit. Too legit to quit, too legit to quit.

Speaker 2:

He can go to Colorado, uh, which has a very uh, it's probably it gets picked off from being the whitest school uh, in D one college, it is Colorado.

Speaker 1:

It's in Colorado.

Speaker 2:

Well you know Denver's pretty. I think Denver's somewhat diverse, right I mean? I don't know, never been, I haven't either, but for him to go to Boulder. He picks Boulder, colorado, to go turn this program around. Now they suck Like they've been they. They won the championship in 1990, uh, along with the uh, georgia Tech in a different format in 1990.

Speaker 1:

Yes, not to play off.

Speaker 2:

Right. So they that back then they you could have coached champion. So Georgia Tech won it in Colorado, won it in 1990. And like that's essentially been it, and since then nobody cares about Colorado football. Uh, they're a doormat team. And um, so Dion Sanders decides to leave Jackson state to go to Colorado which is an HBCU historically black college? Yes, yes and um. So he goes there and essentially gets rid of all of the players on the football team because they're not good enough. He didn't get rid of them.

Speaker 1:

He told them. He told them I'm bringing Louis, I'm bringing my Louis Vuitton luggage. And if that rubs you the wrong way, the, the, the chance for portal is available to you.

Speaker 2:

Yes, so and uh, he pretty much cleaned house and, um, he got a lot of pushback from a lot of the traditionalist uh uh, coaches out there like Nebraska, for the head coached in. So he beat them last week and um, so far they're two and oh, and now they're going to be at home playing against Colorado States. So this is how big Dion Sanders is.

Speaker 2:

For those that don't know, um, so Novel, who's the head coach for Colorado State, made a comment about Dion Sanders wearing his glasses and hat on the radio on a radio show and just saying you know, when you're talking to adults, you need to take your hat and gloves. So he's kind of just saying you know Dion's being kind of rude by keeping his glasses and his hats on during interviews or when I always talk into adults. Uh, not necessary to bring up. Uh, there's really no point to it, other than you know your name's going to get in the papers, which is actually kind of smart because it's let's. Let's face it, nobody cares about Colorado City either. So this is the most attention Colorado State's ever gotten ever.

Speaker 1:

So they're pretty decent last year. So but again nobody cares about? Nobody cares, Nobody talks about, for sure, for sure, Nobody. They don't have to do that.

Speaker 2:

So literally what these guys are doing is just talking about Dion Sanders to at least get people talking about that Right. Yeah, for sure, For sure. So right now. So Colorado State is playing in Boulder, uh, for their rival game which nobody has ever cared about, and they're playing tonight at 10 o'clock. So that would be what Eight o'clock Mountain West time?

Speaker 1:

Yeah, no they're three hours behind.

Speaker 2:

No, I think Colorado is only two hours. Colorado is two hours behind, but what's? Coast time is three hours, okay, okay, okay. So so Colorado is. Yeah, they're Mountain West, so eight o'clock, they're at the time and the country's going to be watching.

Speaker 1:

A lot of people are going to be watching this game. Everybody in the West, in the East Coast here, will be watching. Yes, we will.

Speaker 2:

I will be watching that game too, and why? Because it's Dion Sanders and it's fun, and, and, and, and. Literally this and this is made college football really exciting. This, the whole portal, has been really fun. He just got rid of this team that just won one game last year and right now they're two and up. Yep, right Two and up. They deservedly so yeah, deservedly so and literally took this campus. It's just known for being a predominantly all white campus, very white, and you just bring in his people, a lot of the brothers and to he brought in his Louis luggage, Louis, Louis luggage.

Speaker 1:

He brought that in.

Speaker 2:

So watch out, he brought you know what it makes you think of, makes you think of this and of course I'm, you know it's. It's like almost like when Miami, miami Hurricanes got their things started in the 1980s, when Schellenberger came to the school and he says within four years we're going to a championship. And this was a team nobody cared about, Nobody went to the games, got no recognition. And Howard came in, had a plan and he did the whole. We're only recruiting Miami guys, which is the South Florida kids, I think. I think goes up to is a Boyd Beach, that area, so like they just captured the whole zone, and Miami, which is predominantly it's a private school, so very, very, it was very white at the time.

Speaker 1:

You have to have some cashier stand to that, please, so yes, it's very expensive Lettuce and so.

Speaker 2:

Howard came in and says, yeah, we're gonna, we're gonna paint this school a little bit and yeah, Miami has never been the same since. So this, this could be the next Miami. This could be the next Miami.

Speaker 1:

It can't be a true statement, though, because Deion Sanders, the son Shaddour Sanders, is eligible for the draft, this coming here. And yeah yeah, and he's, and he's also a. Clearly he'll be eligible next year too, if all goes well and he stays standing, stays upright. So if Deion son leaves, will Deion leave with them? No, no, that necessarily go to the NFL with him. Will he leave to go to a bigger program?

Speaker 2:

I think, I don't know after one year, because he has two sons.

Speaker 1:

It's been one. No, no, no. Shaddour may not leave this year because they have a guy in the mold of Deion Sanders by the name of Travis Hunter, two-way player. He made a crucial pick against the TCU and got it, made it possible so that Colorado wins. And Travis Hunter is a two-way player. He could be the number one overall draft pick at corner and an order number one overall draft pick at receiver, if people are looking for receivers because kids that versatile and Deion has them. And Travis Hunter has one more year of college eligibility before he's available next year for the NFL draft. So once Travis Hunter leaves and Shaddour leaves, will Deion transplant himself to another university or will another university come knocking this time? One of the Power Five conferences? Will they come knocking at Deion's door? There's going to be plenty of competition in the conference that Deion's in now because all the teams top notch coaches, top notch players, NFL personnel.

Speaker 2:

So I think with the ever since the portal for the college football, it's changed the game. I don't think you have to go to these big name schools anymore to get all the good players. It's really all about coaching. Well, college football has always been mostly about all about coaching. And who's that coach? And it's all about coaching and fit. And look, if he likes Colorado and he likes living out there, there's literally no reason to go At this. You messed up their chance. I remember a couple of years ago when they're looking for a head coach and I was like I'm selling my one body. I was like dude, they need to hire Deion, they need to get Deion.

Speaker 1:

FSU is not really bad right now. They beat up on LSU. Yeah, good for them. Lsu was top five man. No, coming to the season Overrated. They may be overrated but they're Brian Kelly's no slouch man.

Speaker 1:

He went to the champion when he was at Notre Dame. He went to the national championship game against Alabama. They did get routed but he still took a private school that's mostly white into the national college championship and they got their faces smashed in. But that's reality. You don't have the players. He decided to go to LSU where he could have the bodies and have the freedom of recruiting, and this year they came in top five and they're in the SEC, which is one of the toughest conferences in college football. It is the toughest conference. If you want productive NFL players, you go to the SEC and pick them out, unless you want a quarterback, you don't go. No, you don't go there. Quarterback plays not the greatest there. But everything else at the SEC is a place to go. But yeah, dion Sanders is definitely shaking up the college football landscape. It's fun. Thank God he's making Colorado very relevant.

Speaker 1:

But one thing I could tell you that I dislike about Dion Sanders is the fact that he's going to reporters. Yes, reporters say stuff. They're trying to make news, but they're going to say what they need to say, because papers and what's it called clicks needs to be have. So for you to go back at them. You guys doubted us, dotted us. Everybody's going to doubt you. You're going to a school that hadn't won in 30 years, going on 30 years, man. So it's only sensible that they doubt you.

Speaker 1:

But nobody was paying attention when you were at Jackson stage, which is a HBCU, nobody was doubting, nobody was paying attention. But now they're paying attention to Dion Sanders. They weren't really. Espn tried, but they didn't get the coverage that Colorado is getting out, because Colorado is on a bigger stage, of course. So that's what I'm saying. So you know rightfully. So it's okay to doubt you because you hadn't proven it at one of the bigger schools. But now it looks like you're proving it and you'd be what's it called Matt Ruhle, nebraska's new head coach? Nebraska sucks. No, nebraska does suck. I didn't understand why people were like, oh man, dion's going to get smashed this week.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I never understood that either. Nebraska sucks. They have not been good in years.

Speaker 1:

Well, no, they were decent. They have. This is the new tenure of Matt Ruhle's Matt Ruhle's team. Matt Ruhle's head coaching Stina Nebraska, coming from the NFL the Carolina Panthers, true, and they were hoping that you know he's back. He's one of those guys that could build a program, get it back to you know prominence. They're hoping that he wins. It's been a long time. They're hoping that he brings Nebraska back to prominence. And Matt Ruhle is definitely no Dion Sanders. Dion Sanders is like plug and play. He's Nick Saban. He's what's it called? Sean McVeigh? Plug and play. Wherever you take him, it looks like you plug them. Things are going to go good. So that's, then, the Dion Sanders trail. Let's hitch a ride onto the NFL. What are your thoughts on the NFL week one so far?

Speaker 2:

So week one. My thoughts are it's week one, there's a really good one. So we got teams like Matt Ruhle.

Speaker 1:

It matters to some people. They freaked out.

Speaker 2:

They freaked out the only thing that should be freaked out is the Jets fans, because you just lost Aaron Rodgers and as much as I could care less about the Jets, I can't. I mean, I wanted to see what Aaron Rodgers was going to do in New York. That would have been fun. The fact that he got injured on the first drive of the season, the first series after season.

Speaker 1:

I mean, he didn't go far.

Speaker 2:

The fact that this has never happened in his entire career. Of course, I think that just sucks. I think we all kind of lose out on this and again could care less. What happens to Jets Doesn't matter. But that was, that was a good story.

Speaker 1:

I'm not going to lie to you. Coming into that Monday night football game, my heart was palpitating a little bit. It was beating a little fast. I'm like wow, yeah, cause this is like a marquee game, a big game Aaron Rodgers versus Josh Allen. You know for the giants of the AFC East, the giant, the team you know to win the division, and these two giants are going to come and clash and let's see who wins it. Josh Allen did a sting-ish but give way to game, and Aaron Rodgers no autism scheme, go ahead. Aaron Rodgers got hurt on the first, first set of plays. I was like God, this sucks. I was hoping for like a knockdown dragging my kind of game, but that didn't happen. I was ready, but I feel the reason why the bill is lost is because your offense sucks.

Speaker 2:

No, the offense doesn't suck. They have no scheme. Just give the ball to Josh and do whatever you want.

Speaker 1:

The offense, have no plan. No, the offense. I'm sure they have a plan. Josh is just not executing it Because they put on the offensive coordinator's hand to like, oh, you didn't scheme for us too well. No, it's not about that. There's interceptions, two interceptions given the ball away. I bet you there were a deep and other teams side, but unnecessary. Josh, you had an opportunity to run for first down. You had an opportunity to keep the drive going, but you refused. You decided you needed to throw a bomb. It looks good when it comes together, how about? But if a play is racketed, you don't throw them the ball. You don't get that lucky too often, not that NFL anyways. How about how? A running game? They do have a running game, all they do.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, oh, get out of here.

Speaker 1:

No, the offensive line is not great, but they do have a running game.

Speaker 2:

They have no running game. The running game is Josh Allen. Can you run for the first down? No, James Cook was doing decent.

Speaker 1:

They just didn't give him enough opportunities.

Speaker 2:

They have I don't want to give him enough opportunities, they just get the ball. Josh Allen said do whatever you want. Well, josh Allen, they have no plan. That was exactly what happened last year too, after they lost that game against Kansas City in the playoffs and they were up 13 seconds to go with the number one defense and they go into some prevent defense and the loud Kansas City like, chunk up 30, 40 yards of play and then tie the field goal up. That was it, that was their window. They're done, I'm telling you, because in the very next year, um Dave will go through the Giants Yep, that was our offensive coordinator.

Speaker 2:

Allen has never looked the same. They have no offensive plan whatsoever, no running game, adel, they're screwed. And I'm telling you, josh Allen, the way he plays, it's, it's only a matter of time when he's out for the season with an injury and everyone's jump on the back. This was all last year. Oh, you know the bills. They're super, super, super, super super. At the beginning of the year I was like yo just get to get to the playoffs and we'll talk. And then they get to the playoffs and they barely, they barely beat the dolphins with their third string quarterback At home.

Speaker 1:

Andrew, what could it be? Because the bills have a defensive minded coach? Yes, because Sean McVeigh, yes, has a team playing well. Green Bay's coach what's his name? Matt LaFleur has a team playing well. Dolphins, the Dolphins McDaniels has. Is that his name? Yeah, has a team playing well. Yeah, oh, they're fantastic. They had Buffalo second guessing themselves on defense and that playoff game against Skyler, oh they're they're.

Speaker 2:

They're. If two estates healthy, they, the dolphins, are going to run away with the entire conference. Very possible. That's it.

Speaker 1:

I have a perfect. I have a perfect scheme though the jam of the dolphins, a lot of quick passes, lot of Tyreek moving on in motion to jam him up. Throw it to somebody else. Don't let Tyreek beat you. Jam him up. He's a speed guy. Knock him on his ass a couple of times. He's going to go down, they'll get flagged. You get flagged, they'll catch you. No, no, you get flagged, but you're, and for you, you, you're putting fear in that guy. I think he has no fear. He has fear, Everybody has fear. He's a cheetah, okay.

Speaker 2:

That's me, if you can.

Speaker 1:

He has fear. Mike Tyson says everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth. That's right, it's very cool. You punch Tyreek Hill a couple of times in his mouth, you know what happens. He slows down a little bit. He has to think before he acts. And when you think before you act, it takes a lot longer for your progress to come along. And we'll see how the Patriots play them, cause that'd be, that'd be the blueprint to play the dolphins Sunday night, sunday night, that'd be the blueprint. It is, you're right. So we just got to wait and see. And uh, what's up? You the cop? Uh. So there was two games that were super interesting. All right, pittsburgh versus the 49ers, yes, and the Cowboys versus the Giants, uh-huh. But I'd say Pittsburgh versus the 49ers is more interesting versus the 49ers versus 16. The Giants and the Cowboys, because Pittsburgh.

Speaker 1:

This is Kenny Pickett's second year. He's supposed to come in all composed and be able to play, but it's a home game at that. And Pittsburgh gets smashed early. And Brock Purdy is playing great, he seems on phase. The 49ers offense is humming and Pittsburgh seems to just. They have George Pickett pick in. So Pickett, great receiver. The Ante Johnson great receiver. Najee Harris. Great running back Offensive line should be humming but for some reason they can't seem to.

Speaker 1:

They can't seem to um get things going because the 49ers were so imposing. The two things that the 49ers do well they have a great running game and they have great physicality on defense. They're very physical. They're one of those teams that have the players to be finesse on offense. But the whole team is uh, and the coach, kyle Shanahan, does not look like a tough guy at all, but the whole team is very tough. They play a smashed mouth football. And the reason why I don't uh, you know, hold the 49, the actually me the Cowboys game versus the Giants in such high regards is because stats have shown Daniel Jones does not play well against the Cowboys. He hasn't played well against the Cowboys. Playboys can do anybody. No, even last year he didn't play well against them. They lose to the Cowboys frequently. The Cowboys fast rush. The Cowboys team in general does not match up well with the Giants. The Giants get overwhelmed, the Giants don't. The.

Speaker 2:

Giants get overwhelmed by a lot of teams. They barely made the playoffs last year and they and they beat the Vikings in Minnesota, which was an okay win, because Minnesota always chokes them.

Speaker 1:

Especially at home? Is it because of Kurt Cousins or because?

Speaker 2:

Kurt Cousins is a good quarterback. He's a good quarterback.

Speaker 1:

But I'd we're gonna segue here. I wish you'd watched the series on Netflix called Quarterbacks. Okay, you'd love Kurt Cousins so much more. Oh wait, I like Kurt Cousins. No, I love him now. Do you love him? Yeah, he's one of the good guys. Oh, he seems like a cool guy. No, I mean, you see quarterback. He's someone you want to root for.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

Somebody you want to root for is one of the good guys. You look at him, you watch him play. You're like, wow, I'm impressed, because there's a lot that goes into quarterback, plays A whole lot. You gotta be smart. So that's why, also, I cannot bash Josh Allen too much, because quarterback playing quarterback, is super difficult.

Speaker 2:

No, this is what I'm saying, josh. Look, josh Allen is a fantastic player. He's the one of the best in the entire league. My problem is that they don't have a real scheme and plan for him, and I'm afraid that Josh Allen is going to be a lot like Dan Marino. He's just going to have all these big yards. Dolphins had no running game. Shula did not allow Dan Marino to have one, so it was just all Dan Marino throwing the ball all the time, and they've only had one Super Bowl, and that was like in a second year.

Speaker 1:

So go ahead.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, so that's what I'm saying. Like you got, you have to have some sort of balance attack with Josh Allen. Why did those aren't doing this? I have no idea. It's like you know. They want to make a big deal every time they sign someone new. Don't be on their defensive squad, it's like, all right, great, how about we? You know, boost up our offensive line a little bit.

Speaker 1:

Here is a plan for the Bill's offensive line Just freaking, go to the SEC they don't fail you.

Speaker 2:

If that was that easy for everybody, it literally is that easy.

Speaker 1:

The SEC offensive linemen are ready made, microwavable for NFL Microwavable they are. They come in and succeed Osiris. They just got from freaking Florida, you don't? He did well.

Speaker 2:

No, I mean, look, he held his own, that's a good squad. Look the bills. Look the bills. Just need to have a better the bills.

Speaker 1:

Need to draft offensive linemen from the SEC. Case closed. Go to Nick Savin, go to Georgia. Go to Alabama.

Speaker 2:

Go to Georgia, go to, it's not like in the NFL, they draft, they go. Hey, buffalo, you get to go first. You want to pick your first four guys and no, no no, buffalo doesn't need to go first.

Speaker 1:

But when you draft an offensive linemen, go to the SEC. Stop doing all that nonsense that you're doing. Try to outthink the room, because we all do it. We make it so complicated trying to outthink the room. We don't need to. You see a guy.

Speaker 2:

You see the talent go ahead, go get them. And there's other, there's come on. There's 31 other teams that are thinking the same thing. That's why they're not available by the time of bills. Get the pick.

Speaker 1:

No, they're usually available. Sec offensive linemen always available. There's plenty. You make a mistake, you could even accidentally fall on one. Okay, that's just my thing right there. There you go, bills. I got your perfect solution. But you know there's a bunch of things that play If you believe in curses. There's also the Madden curse All right, josh Allen being the cover athlete. And it's also the, the, the loudest team during the off season gets to have the shittiest regular season. About the Jets no, the Jets were not that loud you don't think the.

Speaker 1:

Jets were that loud, mm-mm. The bills were louder. How so it's the fondig situation All off seasons. Josh Allen's situation how he sucked all off season.

Speaker 2:

That wasn't a big. That wasn't big news. That wasn't on any of the sports shows. It was. The stuff on digs was, but no one.

Speaker 1:

Josh Allen, and right now there's also a Stiffon digs issue with the reporter and the hot mic.

Speaker 2:

That's. That's every freaking team that has an issue with the reporter.

Speaker 1:

No, no, no, no. This one's particular the reporter was talking crap about Stiffon digs.

Speaker 2:

But what reporter doesn't talk crap about Stiffon On the hot?

Speaker 1:

mic. Ah Got caught.

Speaker 2:

What, what, what did that person?

Speaker 1:

say they says the findings does what he wants. He plays in the beat of his own drum. That's all. That's that could hurt somebody's feelings when you're sensitive. That is all.

Speaker 2:

Dude, like clearly people talk more crap about that on on on air without a hot mic. That's a hot take.

Speaker 1:

No, I mean, it's a team reporter. So, yes, that is a hot take, but let's get, let's get a groove onto the playing surfaces. On the NFL, yes, you got gripe with the turf field turf monster, which you think is the reason why lots of players are getting injured recently and some of the NFL players also, you know, talked about a little bit, because they're saying that if the Giants kid, you know take off to put natural grass when they're playing soccer, they're how come they can't put natural grass when they're playing football? And they're getting pissed about that. I really don't know much about it. I played on turf and I was fine. I played on regular grass, I was fine.

Speaker 2:

So I don't know where you stand on it. I mean I just go. I mean, look, I'm not a football player, so I have no opinion on this.

Speaker 1:

You didn't play sports.

Speaker 2:

I mean, look, yeah, but it was on grass If I did anything outside, you never played football, I play. I never played organized Like organized football.

Speaker 1:

Yeah right.

Speaker 2:

I was, like you know, just the. I just did the quarterback in the gym all the time. Okay, just just for fun.

Speaker 1:

Just for fun. So you're athletically inclined but didn't use it, correct, okay, shame, shame, shame. Yes, yeah, I appreciate.

Speaker 2:

Now look, if the consensus for the players is that they prefer grass, then you go with grass, you, because you go with what the players? Yeah, you go with. That's why we're like the NFL teams would just go with what certain fans want, especially when it comes to uniforms. Oh, stop it. No, I don't want to Garbage Some of the jerseys. All of the jerseys are garbage. The fans, like, come up with better concepts than what they do, so anyway.

Speaker 1:

So yeah, if the players want it, then yeah. Don't you think they've done enough research on uniforms to see what appeals to who? No, you think they just threw it out there? Yes, and a hopeless sticks, yes, Okay.

Speaker 2:

Especially like the NBA city jerseys. Something just especially Brooklyn. Brooklyn nets have the worst uniform either is horrible.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, speaking of basketball jerseys, the NBA players, who are referred to as the world champs whenever you know the game, whenever you win an NBA championship actually went and played in the FIBA and didn't even take third. They lost to Canada, yeah.

Speaker 2:

I'm leaving you laughing.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I am laughing because.

Speaker 2:

And Dale Brooks, then he like kick ass against the United States, what no?

Speaker 1:

what the track star was saying was if you win the NBA championship, you're not a world champion, You're a national champion, nationwide champion. No, that's so dumb.

Speaker 2:

You know why it's dumb? Because all the best players in the world are playing in the NBA. That's why it's still a world champion.

Speaker 1:

That may be true, Andrew, but I'll disagree with you there, because the NBA players the team that has the most NBA players did not win the FIBA championship. But the best players do play in the NBA, but the best team right now as a stance in FIBA is not the United States.

Speaker 2:

It's a joke, because the best players that were in the NBA were not playing in that FIBA. Whose fault is that? I don't know, but I'm just telling you it's not a world championship because you didn't if LeBron's on the team, straight up. That's not the impact.

Speaker 1:

Andrew, the players that play on the game are the ones that win or lose your championship. Lebron didn't play, okay, but I'm just saying it's not the best players. It's a choice. The players that you played with were NBA players, regardless. They started somewhere and they lost. They did not win the world championship in basketball.

Speaker 2:

Okay, you can call the world championship all you want, but I'm just saying the best players in the world are in the it's not calling it that.

Speaker 1:

it is that the FIBA world championship, but continue.

Speaker 2:

But the best players in the United States weren't even playing in that because they could care less about it.

Speaker 1:

It doesn't matter if they could care less about it. You cannot call it a NBA championship or world championship, because it isn't. It's only played in America. Is it played elsewhere? No, that's it Okay. If they're not competing against any other country, that's fine. That's why they can't call it a European championship or world championship, even though the best soccer players hold on.

Speaker 1:

The best soccer players play in Europe. The Olympic championship, some world contests. The World Cup is a world contest, right. So yes, you could crown a World Cup champion, the FIBA championship, as a world champion.

Speaker 2:

I mean, I get what you're trying to say, but I'm just saying the best, all the best players are already in the NBA. They are, so that's why it's a world championship.

Speaker 1:

They are, but it isn't a world championship. It's been validated now because America did not win the FIBA championship and on that so we're gonna say that Canada's the best team or has the best players in the world. No, not Canada, germany won the championship. They don't have the best players in the world, but but, andrew, they won the FIBA championship, which is compromise of teams all around the world. Correct, america took NBA players. The rest is full with NBA players. I bet you they're not the best NBA players, but they are NBA players.

Speaker 2:

Germany loses to the Milwaukee Bucks tomorrow.

Speaker 1:

They could lose to whoever they want. Tomorrow, it doesn't matter. Germany won the world championship, not America, and America took a squad of NBA players.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, Our best players. Germany had their best players.

Speaker 1:

It doesn't matter the NBA players, they're supposed to be the best. Listen, america's team is good enough to place fourth Great around the world because they still have the talent, but when it all comes down to it, america can't hold it down if they don't bring their best. It's just like you know, brazil winning the World Cup. When Brazil brings its best, where's the wins when?

Speaker 2:

Brazil doesn't make it. I think, too, like America, like LeBron was talking about how he wants to play next time. The one that only really matters is Olympic. I don't think I've ever cared about the FIFA, fiba the FIBA championships has every four years. I care more about the Olympic World and the goal is for the FIBA championship.

Speaker 1:

Well, it's something that matters? It doesn't matter that much.

Speaker 2:

It doesn't really care. That's why those players are there. Hey, we're talking about it because it matters.

Speaker 1:

I never. That's all Back to some. What else you got? Well, we got some popular topics here right now we got this guy Andrew's never heard of him Vivek Ramoswami. He's not African. Vivek Ramoswami's famous for, you know, blingen Alzheimer drug to the market. Vivek Ramoswami became a billionaire because he worked in Big Pharma.

Speaker 1:

And Vivek Ramoswami is that avid Trump supporter as of recently, cause, you know, he's gone into politics and he's shown Trump so much love. He's like, if Trump was to get put in jail, I'll pardon him this, that and a third. And of course, trump was like ooh, you like me, I like you for liking me. And Vivek Ramoswami, his parents are immigrants and he's a first generation I believe first generation American. And he is against affirmative action. But affirmative action has helped them. And when they asked him about it online an MSNBC reporter asked him about it online they're like why did you take a grant that's meant for, you know, affirmative action students? He's like at the time, I needed the money, I could use $50,000. Sure, everybody could use $50,000.

Speaker 1:

Vivek at that time was making good money. Vivek Ramoswami was making $500, $600,000. All of it up to a million dollars. He had the money but he decided, nah, I need to get more free money. And they asked him about it straight up.

Speaker 1:

He lied on TV. Well, he didn't. He averted the question. He's like, yeah, I could use the money. Yeah, I could use the money.

Speaker 1:

But, bro, how do you need to lie? What's the point of that? Be honest with us, man. We know you just want to get in there and you want to rock the boat. You want to cause a lot of controversy and have people talking about you. Even if you don't win now, you could charge more money for people for you to be a consultant for somebody. It's all I feel.

Speaker 1:

Vivek Ramoswami is in here for publicity stunt. He doesn't really care to run. He's just saying whatever outlandish things you want to say and people will talk about him and they'll put him on shows and he increases profile and then, moving forward, make more money off of it, because he's a long way from winning the primaries and becoming the primary candidate for the Republican Party as long as Trump is around. So I think he needs to just bow out respectfully, because there's a lot of crap that he said that's documented. Like he says, what Trump did on January 6th was terrible and all of a sudden they asked him about it. He's like well, you know, yeah, they just tell the stories. Man Did it. But it's documented, bro, it's on Twitter.

Speaker 1:

You said you made comments. You made the comments that what Trump was doing was aberrant and he shouldn't have done that. It's terrible. And all of a sudden you're caught in a mousetrap. You're like oh, it wasn't. Me Should really be in a mousetrap. Let that thing squeeze his neck for every lie that he tells. They all tell lies, dude.

Speaker 1:

They do they're in it for themselves. It's all good, though no, it's not.

Speaker 2:

It sucks. It's a joke. That's why I don't pay attention to it. So it's just a joke.

Speaker 1:

We all got to pay attention. It's our life, man.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, huh.

Speaker 1:

If you don't pay attention, it's your kids' life too, at some point in time. Ok, that's it. You got to pay attention, you got to know what's going on around you.

Speaker 2:

All the moves they flip up all the time in these big lies.

Speaker 1:

This is true, but you still got to pay attention, and if you do something about it, do something about it, but if you can't let it be, let it be. But so, talking about governmental policies, pretty recently there was a peaceful protest on September 11th in Sierra Leone. Oh, how cool. Yeah, it's not cool, though, because the president right now that's in office, julius Madabio, was his party, the SLPP was saying that if people go out and peacefully protest, they should take it. The SLPP party. The soldiers should go directly to whoever is in charge of the APC parties' houses. Go ahead and go kill those leaders, because they're the ones that are stirring up the pot. Jesus, yeah, so you can't peacefully protest in Sierra Leone? If you peacefully protest, they're going to kill you. That's crazy. But in America you have that right.

Speaker 1:

Corruption can never end in these developing worlds and, as of right now, corruption is all over the continent of Africa, because there's been like four coups and every president that's been in power for long years they're reshuffling their commanders, like, if you're in charge of this branch, you're moving you far away, so you don't set up anything to have a coup to come get at me. So everybody's washing off for themselves now, and that's what Madabio is doing too. He doesn't want no coups, he's protecting himself. But if you decide to have a peaceful protest, they're coming to your house trying to kill you. Or if you're against the government, they're coming to your house trying to get you. There's a lot of audios out there on WhatsApp that have been circulated and also on TikTok They've been circulated and where people are like yeah, if you see any APC person out there protesting, go to the people that are leading the party's houses and go kill them, because you've got to cut the head off the snake. That's what they're thinking and that's just terrible. But, like I said, corruption is all over in Africa right now and some of the African countries are getting aggressive. And people be aware and let's make this world a better place for everybody to live in that's all I have to say in our governments and try to be active participants in civil liberties. That's all I can say.
